Abstract

The replacement of traditional methodology in comparative studies with the correlation of multi-genre, multi-kind, multi-style, multi-cultural and multitemporal phenomena with the help of speculative (mental / rational) convergence of formal, marginal, superficial signs / symptoms of the object of analysis in literary criticism leads to a devaluation of literary criticism as a science.
