Abstract
In modern literature a novel is a popular genre among young writers. It is possible to find examples of both generic and stylistic transformation of a novel in the aesthetic aspect of Postmodernism in numerous creative works, including 'The Pear Name' by Sergey Balahonov, 'Rybin Town' by Natalia Babina or 'The Castle Made of Neetle' by Zmizer Vishnev. These novels are different according to their themes and style, but their common features are philosophy, attention paid to the inner world by the main character, close communicative contact between the author and the reader and multilayer semantic details.
