Metaliterary Perspectives in Belarusian Prose of the 20th Century

Abstract

A metaliterary perspective is an integral part of the semantic potential of Belarusian prose of the 20th century. The problem of the metaliterary reflection of Belarusian writers is a dynamic process. The main lines of understanding Belarusian prose of the 20th century are the following: literature and reality, the essence of literature, literature and the writing environment, literature and the reader. Various ways of realizing the metaliterary reflection were determined by the individuality of writers.
