Abstract
The article is devoted to the classification of genres in the hand-written singing collection Irmaloy11Rk922k. The author has analysed the entire song material of the manuscript and on this basis distinguished a variety of singing types and categories. This study of the singing genres of the handwritten note-linear Irmaloy of the late 17th and early 18th century indicates that this collection should be classified as an encyclopedia. All claims made in the article are based on a scientific rationale.
