Abstrakt

This article addresses the problem of an individual’s socialization depicted in the autobiographical trilogies 'Childhood. Boyhood. Youth' by Leo Tolstoy and 'Childhood. Teen. Youth' by Ivan Naumenko. Both stages and functional components as well as the general structure of the socialization process are examined. In the course of the analysis a number of various socio-cultural contexts appear, along with positive and negative factors which influence a child’s socialization process which may be either speeded up or slowed down.
