Two new texts of 19th-century Belarusian literature: Genre affiliation, linguistic features, attribution issues

Abstract

This article discusses two previously unknown Belarusian poetic texts, written between 1815 and 1824 in the Latin alphabet, which were discovered in the Czartoryski Library in Kraków. The authors analyse the linguistic features, structure and universal, didactic and religious themes of the works, comparing them with other known texts from the first half of the 19th century.
