Abstract
The article analyses the organization and regulation of the activity of libraries in educational institutions of Niasvizh (1773–1794) based on the regulatory and reporting documents of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth Educational Commission. Among the analyzed sources are laws, universals, instructions, letters and regulations, resolutions, reports, minutes of meetings. The issues of reorganization, acquisition and streamlining of the libraries funds are considered. This study is important for examining the history of library affairs in Belarus and the role of libraries in education in the 18th century.
