Abstract

The article analyses the organization and regulation of the activity of libraries in educational institutions of Niasvizh (1773–1794) based on the regulatory and reporting documents of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth Educational Commission. Among the analyzed sources are laws, universals, instructions, letters and regulations, resolutions, reports, minutes of meetings. The issues of reorganization, acquisition and streamlining of the libraries funds are considered.
