Abstract
The article analyzes and summarizes the specifics of formation and functioning of prefixal verbs in the modern Belarusian language (beginning of the XXI century). Among the 1000 Belarusian verbs of the representative text corpus, which are non-fixed in the explanatory dictionaries, such units consists more than 500 (at least 50%). Conducted research testifies significant dynamics of the Belarusian language in the XX–XXI centuries. At the same time, the stability of the grammatical meta-structure of the modern Belarusian language was noted.
