Abstrakt

Felix Batorin's poetry is based on the classical canons of Belarusian literature. Reflections on the past and present, the search for answers to the most troubling questions about the future of Belarus and its inhabitants are among the highlights of Batorin’s lyrics. Batorin tries to make sense of everyday life of modern man, his life choices, unraveling the sources of human nature. Trying to understand the mystery of the meaning of life and to answer difficult questions about man’s vocation on the earth and his life choices, Felix Batorin refers to the Biblical truth, accepting it as the starting point of his argument. The Bible is a unique cultural text, as the texts of the Old and New Testaments centuries ago gave answers to the questions that haunt humanity today.
