Tasks of the Advisory Board
As distinguished scholars, members of the board serve in expert, consultative, and ambassadorial roles. They promote the journal’s visibility within their academic communities, inform others about opportunities to publish in it, cite articles from specific issues that align with their research interests, and provide the editorial team with feedback on the published annual volume.
In exceptional cases, if a member of the editorial team wishes to publish an article in the journal, the chair of the board oversees the editorial process of that submission in place of the editor-in-chief. The chair may consult selected board members, request recommendations for reviewers, and is responsible for ensuring the anonymity of the peer-review process as well as adherence to ethical standards.
