Abstrakt

The article presents an analysis of the 19th century Polish-Belarusian prose from the perspective of the phenomenon of authorship, which is understood as a relation between the author and the work, including the process of writing and publishing, as well as making the author visible in the text. It is stated that the anonymity of a number of publications is, on the one hand, caused by the fear of being persecuted by local authorities in connection with introducing elements of historical truth, and on the other hand, encouraged by the prevalence of this literary phenomenon in European literature, under the influence of which it gradually turns into a typical feature. The image of the author, in the light of the consideration of the typical features of its examples in the works of J. Barshchevsky, J. Jackowski, V. SavicZablotskyy, I. Khodko and some other writers, shows the evolution of the attitude to the writer from the aristocratic point of view.
