Abstrakt

The article focuses on the development of a narrative style in the prose of Maxim Garetsky. It examines a specific narrative strategy, and namely poetic (or ornamental according to W. Shmid) and prose interference revealed in the structure of the story 'Treasure of Life' by Maxim Garetsky. The analysis includes the problem of extended equivalence, leitmotifs, and repetitions as foundations of the expressive style in prose.
